Dear current and former patients of O Cannabis We Stand on Guard for Thee Corporation, also known as O Cannabis Clinics (OCC):
We would like to inform you about changes related to OCC. These changes are not expected to impact the access to high quality medical cannabis care that you are accustomed to receiving. We’ll continue to offer our services in the same manner that you are familiar with (i.e. remotely, through our tele-health platforms).
What has changed?
Effective Sept 1, 2021, TCN assumed ownership of OCC’s operating assets. As a result, responsibility for your patient records, which includes your personal health information, was transferred to TCN. Your file will continue to be stored and accessed securely, through an electronic medical record system.
It is anticipated that OCC branding will eventually be changing. This may be reflected in a new website and patient materials in the future, under The Clinic Network brand.
What does this mean for your medical cannabis care?
Medical cannabis assessments will continue to be provided by Nurse Practitioners and potentially Physicians in the future. You do not need to take any action in this regard. Clinic staff can assist you, when it’s time for your next renewal appointment or you may call the clinic to make/change an appointment.
